From down under....
|
|
G'day Mate,
I have been in Sydney for a week now. Planned to update this fp but too buzy with work + jalan2.
Just a summary will do ya.
~Day 1 (10 May 2008)~
Left KLIA, 10am flight. Met many artists on that day at the airport...Siti Nurhaliza, Adam AF2, Farah AF2. Arrived in Sydney @ 7.50pm Aussie time. Luckily the quarantine was OK, everyone got thru...yg penting makanan selamat..hehe. Pak Djaka (our driver) was already there waiting for us together with Mara officer, Pn. Nora & JPA officer, En. Nasa. Checked in out hotel - Meriton Serviced Apartment @ Liverpool St.
~Day 2 (11 May 2008)~
Ride on the Monorail to Paddy's Market. So many Aussie souveniers are sold here. Ala2 Petaling St jugak sini. Most of the sellers are Asian's. In the afternoon, stroll along Cirqular Quay where we can view Harbour Bridge & Sydney Opera House from here. Semua orang bergambar sakan...hehe...
-Day 3 (12 May 2008)
Training starts at MECAT Curriculum Center, TAFE Castle Hill about 30 minutes from the place we stay.
To be continued

Wishes.....
|
|
In less than 24 hours, i'll be leaving on a jet plane.....and this means, i won't be able to celebrate mother's day with my love ones.
I was touched when my cheeky boy brought home his self-made mom's day card from school this
morning. Not forgotten my girl who bought a small heart shape in a box for her dearie mama.
Mama gets a lil bit emo when thinking about leaving the children behind but I'm sure papa will take good care of them.
To all mom/mummy/umi/ibu out there......Happy Mother's Day to all of you....
I will try to update my whereabout from down under.......
Adios.

Apa ada dengan JCO?
|
|
It wan unplanned. Tiba dpt idea to meet up dengan orang orang jauh ni which happen to be in KL. Dah lama dia mengidam Jco Donut. Kesian kan, Penang takde donut sedap...hehe.. So we met at Sunway Pyramid, surprisingly there were not many people. Rezeki orang Penang la ni kot.
How should i describe the taste of the donut?
Just love gambar budak comot ni. Berselera dia menikmati donut. Adorabale sungguh anak dara ni!
As usual, the kids automatically clicked. Bila ramai2, sporting pulak bila suruh posing.
Dani skrg ada satu macam punye style senyum...sabor je la.
So Linda, selalu2 la turun KL lepas ni ye...sambil makan bole shopping sekali...till we meet again.

Happy New Year!!
|
|
The kids and their frens Hanna & Marissa got to see the man-made snow at the Curve. It was the kids first experience and they were so excited especially Dania as she has so many questions to ask about snow. Dia tak tau the feeling of shovelling snow during winter
Anyway, wishing all friends out there a Happy New Year.
Lots of love,
~Dania & Dani~

1st birthday of Ammar Dhamiri
|
|
Date : 30 December 2007
Venue : Paramount Garden
It was a great birthday party to end the year...everything was perfect from the food yg yummilicous to the games for the kids. One thing for sure my children really enjoyed themselves especially Dani who refuse to leave the paddling pool for the fishing game and of course Dania who won the coloring contest as usual.. . But the part i enjoyed most was the Nemo pinata yg tak pecah2 after several round....sampai la the father of the bday boy had to tear off the fish...it was fun! Banyak betul sweets the kids brought back....jgn sakit gigi sudah...
Ammar is SO adorable, just love his hair. He reminds me of my cheeky boy when he was small.
To my dear fren Wawa, TQ for inviting us...and to Dalina, I hope u like the photos yang tak seberapa ni....

Pulau Langkawi Getaway cum Work
|
|
I got the chance to go to Langkawi as a fascilitator for a course in 'Creativity in Teaching English'.
The course was a great one, plenty of ideas for the teachers to use in their English classroom. The speakers were great.Nama pun guru pakar cemerlang kan.
We stayed at Grand Continental Hotel. A very convenient hotel, a walking distance to Plaza Langkawi and 5 minutes drive to bandar Kuah. We managed to go round the island and suka sgt sebab dapat singgah The Loaf owned by Tun Dr. Mahathir at Telaga Harbour. The scenery was awesome, with all the yacts. Tapi sebab sesat, sampai pun dah senja. Roti pun tak sefresh as in the morning. So we all tapau the breads and ate it on our way back to the hotel. On our way back to our car, terjumpa pulak Dato Azhar Mansor having his dinner at one of the bistros. It seems that he has his yacht parked at the harbour. Sebab tak puas bergambar at Telaga Harbour, we went there again, this time sempat menikmati the scenery sebab masih cerah.
We also include trips to several places for the participants to go round the island. We went to the Gamat factory, Pantai Chenang and visited a Malay entrepreneur who owns a chalet, visited also several historical places like Beras Terbakar walaupun tak jumpa any and also Makan Mahsuri. Tak masuk pun ke makam ni sebab kena bayar . Tapi yang frust, I didn't get the chance to go up the cable car bacause it was closed for maintenance. Dapat tengok dari jauh aje la but the oriental village was a nice place.
Bab shopping, Idaman Suri is a must kalau nak tengok pinggan mangkuk. For choclates lover, can go to Hj Ismail shop at Pekan kuah for a variety of choclates. Just name it...
Before i went back, tak sah kalau tak tangkap gambar kat Dataran Lang. Just love this place...cantik sangat especially during sunset.
Will come back to Langkawi one day...this time with the kids & my other half.
Gambar tak sempat nak diedit sebab FP ni slow, so semua gambar ORI ye..

Heroes of the day
|
|
Question : Are they twins or triplets?
Answer : The one on the left and the right most are twins. The middle one is no 3. Unfortunately didn't get to snap the 4th boy of my good fwen since high school, Aizah Aizurah aka Uju.
I just love looking at them playing among themselves. They have grown so fast!
